Day 1: USA - Frankfurt (Germany)

Our Eastern Europe vacation begins as we board our trans-Atlantic flight for Frankfurt, the financial center of Germany. |

Day 2: Arrive in Frankfurt
|
 |
Upon arrival at Frankfurt, a brief orientation tour begins immediately. After transferred to our hotel, we are free at leisure rest of the day. An optional activity of Rhine cruise with dinner will be offered for this evening. |

Day 3: Frankfurt - Wurzburg - Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic) 每 Prague (B/L/D)

We head to Wurzburg and start our tour from Romantis Road and an ancient city of Bavaria by the River Main by bus. After arrival, our city orientation tour features views of the Dom, Alte Mainbruck, Rathaus, and the brilliant Residenz. Cross the border to Czech Republic and arrive in Karlovy Vary, the most popular tourist destination for spa treatment of the country. Later we proceed to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. |

Day 4: Prague (B/D)

Our first stop of the "Golden City"- Prague takes us to Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world. The tour also features visits to the ancient St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Town Square, romantic Charles Bridge over the Vltava River, Astronomical Clock, and views of Jewish Quarter. Some free time will be given for leisure activities. |

Day 5: Prague - Vienna (Austria) (B/D)

After two-night stay at Prague, we travel to Vienna. A half day city tour will take us to Schonbrun Palace, and a panoramic drive will show us some famous landmarks: the Vienna Opera House, Ringstrasse, City Hall, Parliament Building, and the Hofburg. Some free time will be given for shopping or viewing the St. Stephen*s Church. Tonight, if you like, you may participate in the optional activity - Mozart*s Concert. |

Day 6: Vienna - Budapest (Hungary) - Danube Cruise (B/D)

A leisurely drive this morning takes us through the countryside to the Hungarian border. Before driving into the city center of Budapest, the capital city of Hungary, we first enjoy a panorama view across the Danube from the hill top. Then marvel at the murals in Matthias Church beside the Fisherman*s Bastion. We view the Parliament, Royal Palace of Buda, and then cruise on the Danube to the Pest district to visit Heroes* Square. After a full day of sightseeing, a traditional Hungarian dinner with music at a typical Hungarian Restaurant will make you enjoy a wonderful night. |

Day 7: Budapest - Zagreb or Plitvice (Croatia)(B/D)

Our morning tour departs for Zagreb, the largest and capital city of Croatia. After passing the charming countryside area, we across the Croatian boarder and arrive at Zagreb. Immediately a city orientation tour shows us the following landmarks: Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Ban Josip Jelacic Square, Presidential Palace, Stone Gate, and St. Marks Church. Photo stops will be arranged. We stay overnight at Zabreb or Plitvice. |

Day 8: Zagreb or Plitvice - 16 Lakes National Park - Postojna (Slovenia) (B/D)

The Plitvice 16 Lakes National Park, Croatia*s most popular attraction, was granted UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979. The sixteen lakes are inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. In the park, there are numerous trails on which to walk and hike, and there are also ECED boats in order to see the park and all its glory. It is definitely a must-see in Croatia. Afterwards, we leave for the City of Postojna for dinner and overnight stay. |

Day 9: Postojna Cave - Ljubljana - Salzburg (Austria) (B/L)

The highlight of today*s sightseeing tour is a morning visit to the world famous attraction - Postojna Cave, the largest cave in the classic Karst and the most visited show cave in Europe. After lunch, we proceed to Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. Upon arrival, our tour takes us to the medieval castle for splendid scenic views. In Old Town Center, we see the City Hall, the Robba Fountain, the Main Square, the Triple Bridge and Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Before heading up to Salzburg, if time permits and you desire, we may stop in the Central Market and visit the Ljubljana Castle or Castle Hill. We will spend overnight at Salzburg, the city renowned for the birthplace of Mozart. |

Day 10: Salzburg - Salzburg (Germany) - German Pig Knuckles Dinner (B/D)

Our morning tour of Salzburg starts with a visit to the Mirabell Garden, and then we cross the Salzach River entering the Old Town. Some free time will be given for leisure. If you desire, you may visit Mozart*s birthplace, scroll about the streets in the Old Town, have a fantastic bird-eye view of the city from Festung Hohensalzburg, or perhaps take an optional ※Sound of the Music§ tour to St. Gilgen and Lake Woifgang. Head to Munich for overnight accommodation and the famous German pig knuckles dinner. |

Day 11: Munich - Neuschwanstein 每 Frankfurt (B/D)

Drive from Munich to Fussen, the enchanting city dedicating the end of Romantic Road. We travel into the Bavarian Alps for a close view of King Ludwig II*s fairytale Neuschwanstein Castle. In Fussen, some free times are given for leisure activities. Perhaps ascend to the entrance by carriage for a guided tour of the castle, pick a restaurant for some German beer and food in the town, or simply stroll about the streets to shop some souvenirs. Return to Frankfurt later in the afternoon for farewell dinner and overnight accommodation. |

Day 12: Frankfurt 每 USA (B)

Our tour ends as we are transferred to the airport for homebound flight back to the USA. |
