Qatar Airways Company Q.C.S.C. is the flag carrier airline of Qatar, based in Doha. It operates a hub and spoke network, linking over 80 international destinations. It is among the only six airlines awarded 5-star rating by Skytrax along with Kingfisher Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Asiana Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines.As of March 2009 Qatar Airways serves 84 destinations and Qatar Airways Cargo serves 21 (including 17 destinations served by Qatar Airways also) destinations in 52 Countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and North America

Qatar Airways has also planed to add Amritsar, Goa, Melbourne, Sydney and two unnamed cities in Europe during 2009, one of which is believed to be Sofia, Bulgaria. Entebbe may be started this year as well or in 2010. Already it is hiring cabin crews ahead of it Melbourne launch which was announced since 2004.
